Vyedehi institute of dental science offers both undergraduate and postgraduate degrees to its students wanting to make a career in dental science. Talking about the faculty of Vydehi institute of dental science, the institute provides world-class educators to its students. As we talked to the students of the institute, we came to know that the teachers of the college are well supported and understanding and makes the difficult concepts so easy to understand. Adding to this, the institute faculty provides the weaker students with extra classes so that they can also excel in their studies. Vyedehi institute of dental science also promises you the same excitement and memories when it comes to college life. The campus is spread over an area of 65 acres that enjoys the dual benefit of its location by easy access to various facilities like well-connected metro routes. The entire campus is well built with security guards deployed at various places throughout the college. FACILITIES

Library

The college has a well equipped and fully furnished central library that has a seating capacity of 300 students. The library has a wide range of books available for the students ranging from medical books to periodicals, journals and various documentaries. Various facilities like printing, photocopying are also available to the students free of cost and the working hours of the library is from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm. The college library is wifi enabled and the students have access to it free of cost.

Laundry Facilities

A laundry facility is also available to the students who are living in the college hostel which has been rated as satisfactory by the students. This facility of laundry is available to the students at a reasonable price

Cafeteria

The college also provides canteen facilities to the students that serve quality food at a reasonable price. The cafeteria provides a flexible meal plan to the students having both vegetarian and non-vegetarian food and students can choose their meal as per their requirements.

ATMs & Banks

The banking facilities are also available to the students in case they need any financial help. An ATM is also available on the college premises for the students. The various branches of the banks are also available in close proximity to the college premises. Although the inbuilt facility of any bank is not available in the college, however, the college always looks after the financial need of the college.

Guesthouse

In case student relatives or parents come to pay a visit to the students in the institute, then the college premises have a facility for their accommodation. The hostel premises also have a guesthouse facility for the stay of parents and relatives. The college does not allow anyone to stay in the student’s hostel room and that is why they provide the facility of separate accommodation for the relatives.

HOSTELS

The college provides the facility of the hostel to the students. The hostels are well maintained and equipped with basic facilities. The hostel has an accommodating space of around 200-250 students. All the rooms in the hostel have a desk, chair, bookshelf, Godrej locker in addition to a cot without a mattress. The students have to carry their mattresses. The hostel area is under 24 hours surveillance and a help desk is available within the hostel area where the students can approach if they need any help.

Some of the hostel rooms also have an air condition facility for which they have to pay separately to the institute.

Does the college have a dress code for the students?

As of now, the college does not have any official dress code for the students, however, the students are expected to maintain decorum in the college and are not allowed to wear inappropriate dresses. Girls are restricted to wearing shorts and skirts. Students are expected to wear a white lab coat in the laboratories, classroom and around the campus.
